The new High Power Rifle and BPCR schedules have been posted on the outdoor calendar. The first fun match of the 2012 High Power season will be Saturday, January 29th.

The Fun Match on the 29th was a big success. Check out the scores on the high power page, so you can razz your friends.

High trap scores for this weeks round of the Review Shoot are posted on the shotgun page.

We have added a new range safety procedure to do a better job of keeping everyone safe. It is rule #2 on the range safety page. Signs will be up soon. RSO's will be making everyone aware during the next few weeks.

SRC offers the best and most varied facilities for shooting sports in this part of the country. We have an Indoor Pistol Range (50 ft), Trap Range, Outdoor Pistol Range (7 to 25 yd) and a 100 and 200 yard rifle range. We have a full schedule of High Power and Black Powder Cartridge Rifle matches. We have for many years sponsored one of the finest junior rifle club programs in the country and we have a well organized Muzzle Loader, Cast Bullet and action pistol program. Check the calendars for the schedules of each discipline.

The SRC board of directors had come to the conclusion that our by-laws were in need of some housekeeping. The changes were voted on during the annual meeting and were passed by a margin of 62 affirmative to 12 opposed. Copies of the new by-laws will be available as soon as we get them back from the printer or you can download a copy here: By-laws

Our hours of operation are 8am to dusk 365 days a year. Not a member - you are welcome to use our ranges at these times: North Range - Friday and Saturday - 10am to 6 pm. Non member fee - $20.00 / day. Trap Range - anytime we are open - Non member fee - $3.00 / day. We have a few club shotguns you can use. Indoor Range - public welcome during listed open shooting - Non member fee is $10.00. Want to become a member - come to the north range any time we are open and find the Range Safety Officer. He will accept your application and give you a safety briefing. Cost to join the club - $80 admin fee plus $25 per each quarter that remains for the year. Thereafter it is a $100 annual member fee. That's all there is to it.

SRC supports Washington State Hunters Education courses through the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council. We provide range facilities at no cost for the Range and Field Day parts of the course. Scheduling is done by the I.N.W.C. We reserve the ranges on the days requested for the sole use of Hunters Education personnel. Hunters Education utilizes the indoor and trap ranges and are finished by noon on their field days.
